Food is nourishment for the body.

During March 2024, the Holy month of Ramadhan, time for spiritual reflection, empathy and giving for the Muslim Communities, the Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities once again ran its annual Dawn to Dusk Campaign in support of the less fortunate. This year’s campaign was inspired by the above poignant quote from Ali Ibn Abu Talib. With the overflowing generosity and selflessness of our donors, a generous amount of $50,500 was raised and presented to the Edmonton Food Bank at the Iftar Dinner hosted by the Lieutenant Governor at the Queen Elizabeth II Building on April 4th.
